The Pacific Business Group on Health is focused on the Triple Aim of improving the quality of health care and the health of populations while moderating costs. The national Choosing Wisely® initiative, created by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Foundation in collaboration with Consumer Reports, helps advance the Triple Aim by bringing attention to opportunities for better care, and ultimately a better patient experience. The Choosing Wisely campaign is supported by purchasers, providers, and consumers to help patients make better decisions about healthcare and use of medical services, and with over 70 medical specialty societies participating, we have selected a sample of easy to understand materials that purchasers and interested stakeholders can include in their employee health promotion communications.
